Raising And Accelerating MSME Perfomance (RAMP)
Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) is a Central Sector Scheme by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises launched on 30th June 2022 by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. The scheme aims to scale up the implementation capacity and coverage of MSMEs in the States, with impact enhancement of existing MSME schemes. It will complement the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Mission by fostering innovation, encouraging ideation, and incubating new business and entrepreneurship by developing quality standards, improving practices and processes, enhancing market access, deploying technological tools, and Industry 4.0 to make MSMEs competitive and self-reliant.
MEMiz Launch
Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) carried out as MEMiz in Mizoram was launched on June 19th, 2024 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma.
The event was organized by the Directorate of Commerce and Industries Department and the SPIU Team. It was attended by numerous state ministers, MLAs, government officials from various departments, and MSMEs from across the state. This event was also attended by two officials from MoMSME, namely, Mr Sibasish Raula and Mr Vijay Sharma.
Promotion for RAMP
Prior to the launch event of MEMiz, promotions were conducted across various social media platforms such as Youtube, Instagram, Whatsapp. Zonet and LPS Cable Television were also used for promotion of this event during their prime time slots. This information dissemination was utilised to promote Web portal, mobile application, RAMP launch event and the schemes to be implemented under this program.
Publication and disbursement of MSME Schemes booklet
The task of publishing and distributing the MSME Schemes booklet to MSMEs across the state is being swiftly carried out. This booklet will provide MSMEs with information about the schemes, thereby increasing their awareness and understanding of these opportunities.
The booklet was released at the RAMP Launch Event. A significant number of booklets were distributed on the release date, with many more provided to MSMEs following the event.
Tech Team and MEMiz Platform:
Data Scientist and Data Analyst have been recruited and onboarded. Tech Team formation has been completed and the platform development is currently underway. The tech team is currently finalising data points required for profiling of MSMEs which will be used in the platform and for calling necessary APIs.
