Angel Business Promoters of Mizoram partnered with National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), Guwahati Regional Office from 2023. Angel Business Promoters formed three Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) within Lawngtlai District under CSS Formation and Promotion of 10000 FPOs which is implemented by NCDC. Angel Business Promoters of Mizoram is the empanelled CBBO (Cluster Based Business Organisation) under NCDC for implementing this scheme.
Bungtlang South Cooperative Society Limited, Bungtlang South RD Block
Under this project, Bungtlang South and Hmunnuam village were selected for the cluster area. The FPO was registered as Cooperative Society on 31st March 2023 by the name Bungtlang South Cooperative Society Ltd. With the formation of FPO in this cluster, different vegetables grown in the areas are promoted for larger production and marketing.
Kamalanagar Cooperative Society Limited, Chawngte RD Block
Under the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), three RD Blocks have been allotted for the formation of FPO in Lawngtlai District. One of which is implemented in Chawngte RD Block where two villages were covered for the project. The FPO was registered as Cooperative Society on 3rd April 2023 by the name Kamalanagar Cooperative Society Ltd. having its office at Kamalanagar.
