Formation and Promotion of 01 Poultry and Apiculture FPO at West Phaileng, Mamit

Angel Business Promoters (ABP) is the Producer Organisation Promoting Institute (POPI) under this fund. The project aims at the formation of 01 Poultry and Apiculture FPO at West Phaileng, Mamit District to increase or improve in farm production and productivity through adoption of new, innovative or appropriate technologies and linkages with markets/corporate houses leading to increased or improved income earnings.

 

This is the first NABARD project implemented by Angel Business Promoters of Mizoram.

Duration of Project - 03 years (June 2021 - May 2024)

Sanction amount - Rs. 11,44,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakhs Forty Four Thousand only)

 

The FPO started their own business through egg incubator, feed production, supply of chicks and marketing of honey to various cities within and outside Mizoram.
