Tribal Development Fund (TDF)
For the upliftment of the livelihood of the tribal families in the selected tribal area, a total of 200 farmers were selected from 3 villages. The developmental program was carried out with a holistic approach.
Out of the selected 200 farmers, 160 farmers were from the families having their own land for wadi development. Arecanut is selected as the main crop. The farmers will have to participate in the accomplishment of the project. The wadi will be developed through sustainable agriculture practices consisting of Integrated Nutrient Management and Integrated Pest Management, etc.
Livelihood elevation was also approached through pig farming starting on a small scale. This will generate income for 40 selected beneficiaries.
The project have the following strategies:

Development of wadi for 160 tribal families.

Livelihood elevation through piggery for 40 farmers.

Training and capacity building of the identified farmers.

Soil and water conservation.

Stimulation of market and credit linkages
